Taking the pain out of bulk domain checks
BulkyDomains can check up to 10,000 domains for availability within seconds. Here's how it works:
- Copy a list or upload a file of domains, one domain per line, into the box above. Then hit the Check domains button.
- Your list of domain names is checked against hundreds of millions of registered domains we extract from zone files. Each top-level domain (TLD) like .com, .net, and .org has it's own zone file that lists the nameservers for each domain name. We download and process these massive files every night. We also check against lists of domains selling in the aftermarket and at auction to give you the full picture. Once this check is complete, preliminary results are returned immediately.
- After your initial results are returned, we run additional DNS checks in the background to double-check that available domains are actually available. If there are DNS records associated with a domain, that domain is registered. Results on your screen update in real time as this process plays out.
- Any domains that we're still not sure about are run through a third layer of checks with APIs from various domain registrars. This increases the accuracy further.
- You can copy or download your results once this process is complete. We also provide useful tools for each domain. If the domain is taken, click the WHOIS button to discover who owns it. If the domain isn't taken, you can register or buy it by clicking on the Continue button. On the left-hand side of each domain is menu with options to copy the individual domain name and check backlinks.
Who is this for?
The BulkyDomains bulk domain name search tool is useful for anyone needing to check the availability of multiple domains. Checking domains individually is a huge hassle, especially if you have hundreds or thousands of domains to check, and alternative bulk domain lookup tools are slow and limited.
You might find this bulk domain name availability checker useful if:
- You want to protect your brand by registering variants, misspellings, and other variations on your domain name. With BulkyDomains, you can quickly check a long list of possibilities for availability.
- You have a list of potentially expired domains with good backlinks, but you need to weed out which ones are no longer available. Expired domains with strong backlink profiles can be great starting points for new websites, or they can give existing websites an SEO boost through the careful use of 301 redirects.
- You're trying to find the perfect domain for a new project, and you've generated a long list of potential options. Checking each domain individually would take an eternity, but BulkyDomains can check them all in seconds.
How does it compare to other bulk domain search tools?
There are plenty of bulk domain search tools available, but almost all of them are downright awful. They're slow, cumbersome, prone to crashing your web browser, unreliable, and come severe limits on the number of domains you can check.
